Our Story

Bright Hope (formerly Little Light House Central Kentucky) began in June of 2022 with the mission to glorify God by coming alongside children with special needs, helping them grow, communicate, learn, and thrive. We want to equip them to thrive in the fullness of who God created them to be.

Since 2022, Bright Hope Learning Center has helped a number of children with various special needs start on their path of reaching their maximum potential, at no cost to their parents. Their children are nurtured with love while being taught best practices academically and therapeutically. Bright Hope uses a specifically adapted bible-based curriculum  that focuses on the needs of the whole child. We combine education and therapy within a classroom setting, making individual adaptations as needed.  We celebrate every milestone and even every "inchstone" a child at Bright Hope makes. We also provide hope, resources, a listening ear, and respite for the parents of our students.

Bright Hope is located in the heart of downtown Shelbyville, and welcomes new students from Shelby and surrounding counties!

We Value Your Support! (All donations are tax deductible).
